Our wedding will be held near Princeton, NJ. Here is information on how to get to there, how to get around once you’ve arrived, and where to stay.
Travel to Princeton
The closest major airports are Newark (EWR) and Philadelphia (PHL). The Trenton (TTN) airport is smaller, but closer.
From Newark airport, you can take a NJ Transit or Amtrak train to Princeton. Public transportation within Princeton is limited, so you may want to rent a car and drive instead of taking the train.
Transportation in/around Princeton
To get around Princeton and to/from the wedding venue, you’ll need access to a car. Although downtown Princeton is best explored on foot, most hotels are not in walking distance.
We highly encourage everyone to take an Uber, Lyft, or taxi to/from the wedding. We will have an open bar, which we hope you will enjoy, but we also want everyone to be safe.
Where to Stay
October is prime wedding season in Princeton, so lodging options are limited! We encourage you to book your hotel as soon as possible.
We have secured a block of rooms at the Princeton Marriott at Forrestal, which is just outside of downtown Princeton. Please use this link to obtain the discounted rate of $199 for a room with a king bed and $235 for a room with two doubles. This block will be available until September 27th. Guests can cancel their reservation with no penalty up to 72 hours before check-in.
In downtown Princeton, there are only two hotels that still have availability. We have secured a block of rooms at the Graduate Hotel. Please use this link to obtain the discounted rate of $329 for a room with a king bed and $389 for a room with two queens. (The site is not intuitive — once you open the link, you will need to click forward to the month of October for the available dates to populate!) This block will be available until September 3rd. Guests can cancel their reservation with no penalty up to 48 hours before check-in.
The other hotel in downtown Princeton is the Nassau Inn, which charges $310 per night.
We know these options are extremely expensive. Hotels in nearby Lawrenceville tend to have lower prices, as well as more availability. If you’re traveling with children, you might also want to check out the options available on Airbnb.
